A Totally Crazy Summer Camp

The cheerful story of our new summer show picks up right where the last programme left off: Nina and Sponti have finally been accepted into the famous CAVALLUNA summer camp, where they are starting their training as show riders – but of course nothing goes as planned! When they want to show off their new skills together with their new friends at the open day, chaos is inevitable and the slightly neurotic director Ralph and his assistant have their hands full keeping the gang of rascals in check. "Sommercamp total verrückt!" is a fresh and happy family show with touching equestrian numbers, witty dialogue (in German language) and dynamic dance choreographies that really gets the audience in the summer holiday mood!

Our Stars on Stage

Of course, the talented CAVALLUNA actors are once again part of the show, perfectly embodying the beloved characters in unique ways. The real stars however are, as expected at CAVALLUNA, our four-legged friends: whether sugar-sweet miniature ponies, majestic Andalusians or funny donkeys – together with the best show riders from all over Europe, they enchant the audience with their extraordinary skills. The audience can look forward to fast-paced trick riding, magical liberty acts and top-class dressage, all accompanied by a moving soundtrack and embedded in an entertaining story.

An Impressive Location

After the CAVALLUNA Kids summer show has taken place outside for the last two years, the programme is now moving to the weather-protected SHOWPALAST, the unique theatre on the grounds of CAVALLUNA Park. It has Europe's largest permanently installed LED wall, which gives every scene a unique flair. In addition, the cheerful action on stage is of course supported by a magical lighting design, spectacular special effects and an impressive stage set. So it doesn't matter whether it's hot outside or raining cats and dogs – the summer fun can begin!

Frequently asked questions about
the summer show in Munich
  • Who is the show "CAVALLUNA Kids - Sommercamp total verrückt!" suitable for?

This show format is specially designed for families and, as always, uses the popular combination of horsemanship, acrobatics and music. The show combines spectacular, funny and touching moments and through the interactive involvement of parts of the audience, is the very best entertainment for young and old.

  • How long is the show?

The show lasts 2:15 hours including a 25 minute intermission.

  • Is there protection from rain or strong sun?

The show takes place at the SHOWPALAST Munich, an impressive theatre that is naturally protected from the wind and weather and is heated or air-conditioned depending on the season. This means that neither the actors nor the audience are exposed to the adversities of the weather.

  • Is the CAVALLUNA Park open again as a horse theme park?

The CAVALLUNA park, which used to be an equestrian leisure park, will remain closed until further notice. During the CAVALLUNA Kids shows, it becomes the venue for the shows and offers a varied programme for young and old.

  • When does admission start on site?

The park opens 1.5 hours before the show and closes 1.5 hours after the show. The supporting program always takes place before and after the shows.

  • Can I bring my dog or other pet to the performance?

    Animals are generally not allowed.

  • What discounts are available?

Children up to 4 years of age are admitted free of charge without the right to a seat (lap child). Children from 5 to 12 years of age receive a discount of €10 on the normal price of the respective category. Severely disabled persons who require the assistance of an escort (category 'B') receive a free ticket for the escort and pay the full price of the ticket themselves. Companion tickets cannot be booked online, but only via the ticket hotline (01806 - 73 33 33). Multiple discounts per ticket cannot be combined.

  • What is the age limit to attend the show alone?

Due to the protection of minors and for insurance reasons, children and young people may only attend the show alone from the age of 16. If children and young people are under 16 years of age, they may only be admitted with a parent or guardian or in the company of an adult with written authorisation from a parent or guardian.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures or film at the shows?

In principle, we are happy to receive beautiful pictures or videos - also uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or other social networks. However, it is particularly important to us that the visit to the show remains a very special experience for every spectator. Therefore, it is not permitted to bring photo equipment or to take pictures with SLR cameras or other cameras with interchangeable lenses. The same applies to filming with professional cameras (e.g. camcorders). Tablets are also not permitted on the grounds of CAVALLUNA Park Munich. Your recordings could disturb the guests in your immediate vicinity.
Please also note that photography is only permitted for private, not commercial purposes. Representatives of the press can obtain accreditation from our PR team. It is also essential to keep the flash switched off so as not to frighten the horses.

  • Is there food and drink available on site?

Savoury and sweet snacks (e.g. bockwurst, focaccia, chips) and drinks are available for purchase on site.

  • How are the horses stabled?

The property has large boxes according to the most modern standards and numerous exercise areas. The stables are located in sheltered areas so that there are retreats for all animals. For training and meaningful exercise of the horses, there are several halls, lunging areas and outdoor arenas. Of course, the welfare of the horses is very important to us. For this reason, we work very closely with the Munich Veterinary Office as an independent authority to ensure that all the conditions planned for the horses at the location comply with the German Animal Welfare Act and that optimum husbandry is guaranteed. Of course, veterinary care is also provided on site. The care of all animals is in the hands of expert staff and, of course, the teams themselves.

  • Are there parking facilities?

There is a parking lot with more than 250 spaces next to the CAVALLUNA Park. During the summer show, the daily rate is only 8 euros. There is also a P+R parking lot close to CAVALLUNA Park, directly at the U-Bhf. Fröttmaning.
