Eine Show steht Kopf!
The cheerful story of 'CAVALLUNA Kids - Eine Show steht Kopf' is the first episode of the Horse Academy adventure series: Nina, Sponti and Ben, who have an appointment to play volleyball, crash a CAVALLUNA show and have to stand in for the absent main actors. The show then threatens to go off the rails and director Ralph loses his nerve at times as the teenagers try to navigate their way through the chaos of the show scenes. With lots of humour and charm, 'Eine Show steht Kopf' has already thrilled audiences twice and is now returning to the SHOWPALAST! The second part of the series, 'Sommercamp total verrückt!' can be seen in the summer holidays of 2025 - an entertaining show series for the whole family!
Our stars on stage
Of course, the talented CAVALLUNA actors, who uniquely embody the characters of the show, are back. But the real stars of the show are, in true CAVALLUNA style, the four-legged friends: from cute miniature ponies to majestic Andalusian horses and comical donkeys, they will enchant the audience with their extraordinary performances, together with the best show riders in Europe. Guests can look forward to the fast-paced Hungarian Post, magical liberty acts and top-class dressage, all accompanied by a rousing soundtrack and embedded in an entertaining story.
A special location
The cheerful show can be seen in the weather-protected SHOWPALAST, the unique theatre in the grounds of CAVALLUNA Park: it has Europe's largest permanently installed LED wall, which gives each scene a very special flair. Of course, the action on stage is supported by a magical lighting design, spectacular special effects and an impressive set. No matter what the weather is like outside - in the SHOWPALAST the sun will shine for everyone during "Eine Show steht Kopf!".

Who should see "CAVALLUNA Kids"?
This show format is specially designed for children and families and is based on the popular combination of equestrianism, theater and music. The show combines spectacular, funny and touching moments and promises the very best in entertainment for young and old alike.
How long does the show last?
The show lasts approximately two hours including a 25 minute intermission.
Are you protected from rain or strong sun?
The show takes place in Munich's SHOWPALAST, an impressive theatre that is of course protected from wind and weather and is heated or air-conditioned depending on the season. This means that neither the performers nor the audience are exposed to the vagaries of the weather.
Will the CAVALLUNA Park be reopened as a leisure park for horses in the future?
The CAVALLUNA Park will remain closed for the time being as it was in the past. It will be open as a venue for the CAVALLUNA children's shows and will offer a colourful supporting programme for young and old.
What time does the park open?
The park opens 1.5 hours before the show and closes 1.5 hours after the show. There are always activities before and after the shows.
Can I bring my dog or other pet to the show?
Unfortunately, pets are generally not allowed.
What discounts are available?
Children up to 4 years of age have free entry without the right to a seat (lap child). Children from 5 to 12 years of age receive a discount of €10 on the full price of the corresponding category. Severely disabled persons who are dependent on an escort (category B) receive a free ticket for the escort and pay the full price of the ticket themselves. Free tickets for accompanying persons cannot be booked online, but only via the ticket hotline (01806 - 73 33 33). Multiple discounts per ticket cannot be combined.
At what age can I attend the show alone?
For the protection of minors and insurance reasons, children and young people must be aged 16 or over to attend the show unaccompanied. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or by an adult with written permission from a parent or guardian.
Can I take photos or film during the shows?
We are always happy to receive nice pictures or videos - even uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or other social networking sites. However, it is very important to us that the show remains a special experience for each and every member of the audience. For this reason, it is not permitted to bring photographic equipment or to take photographs with SLR cameras or other cameras with interchangeable lenses. The same applies to filming with professional cameras (e.g. camcorders) or tablets, as we want to ensure that other guests are not disturbed in their enjoyment of the show.
Please also note that photography is only permitted for personal, non-commercial use. Members of the press can obtain accreditation from our PR team. It is also essential that flash is turned off to avoid frightening the horses.
Is there catering available?
Savoury and sweet snacks (e.g. bratwurst, pizza, crêpes) and drinks will be available on site.
How are the horses housed?
The site has large boxes built to the latest standards and plenty of exercise areas. The stables are situated in sheltered areas so that there is plenty of space for all the animals to retreat to. There is a large indoor riding arena and lunging ring for training and exercise. The welfare of the horses is of course very important to us. For this reason, we work very closely with the Munich Veterinary Office as an independent authority to ensure that all the conditions planned for the horses on site comply with the German Animal Welfare Act and that optimum husbandry is guaranteed. Of course, on-site veterinary care is also guaranteed. The care of all the animals is in the hands of expert staff and, of course, the riders themselves.
Is there parking on site?
There is a car park with more than 250 spaces next to the CAVALLUNA Park. During our show times, the daily parking fee is 8 euros. There is also a P+R car park close to CAVALLUNA Park, at the Fröttmaning underground station.
