CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld
CAVALLUNA returns in October 2025 to enchant audiences with a breathtaking show that transports them to the mysterious Otherworld. CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld is a firework of emotions that will fascinate, touch and amaze young and old alike.
Around 60 horses and the best riders in Europe thrill the audience together with a top-class dance company, supported by emotional music and impressive lighting and special effects. Join us on an adventurous journey and enjoy outstanding horsemanship, breathtaking scenery and a captivating story.
The Story
The fairytale story in "CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld" revolves around the young seer Meerin, who is cast out by her people and forced to flee. An adventurous journey begins, during which Meerin must not only rediscover her own abilities, but also help a young king who lives in a distant land. Her quest is complicated by the evil sorcerer Röndrup and his devious niece, who do everything in their power to make life difficult for Meerin and her friends. Meerin is imprisoned, persecuted and used, and is constantly faced with new dangers. But she also receives support and fights relentlessly to do the right thing! Will she be able to stand up to the forces of evil, pass through the Gate to the Otherworld and find her way back home? Meerin's thrilling adventure is brought to life with stunning illustrations and, of course, the most beautiful horses in Europe!

However, as always, the four-legged stars will be in the spotlight and the public can look forward to seeing equestrian teams from all over Europe.
On board will be majestic Friesians, elegant Lusitanos and, of course, adorable mini ponies and donkeys. From spectacular Hungarian Post to daring trick riding and harmonious liberty dressage, there really is something for everyone! Well-known favourites such as Bartolo Messina and the Portuguese team of Luis Valença are sure to impress, as are new faces such as the exceptionally talented Rudj Bellini from Italy, who is competing at CAVALLUNA for the first time.
