How the CAVALLUNA Horses Live in Munich

A Loving Home for our Horses

In the CAVALLUNA Park, our horses have a home where they can feel completely at ease during show times. Spacious paddocks and fields give them room to play, graze and relax. We make sure they have plenty of social contact and always have the same herd constellations and stable neighbours. They can enjoy the peace and quiet between shows in the five-hectare park area, which was designed especially for horses. The animals belong to the respective riders and teams, who look after them lovingly and also care for the horses themselves. The well-being and health of the horses always have top priority - so if a horse is sick or injured, it is immediately treated by a vet and, of course, taken out of the show.

A Paradise for Horses and Humans

The 1,200 m² indoor riding arena, an outdoor riding arena and a lunging circle offer plenty of space for special training and exercise. At the wash bay and in the solarium, our furry friends can enjoy grooming and relaxation after work. Our stables are friendly, bright and modern and offer the right balance between social interaction and retreat. Only a horse that experiences the right combination of healthy training and mental relaxation is a happy show horse that can give its best on stage - and if a horse is unhappy or stressed, you can clearly recognise this as a spectator.

Preparation for Life as A Show Horse

Our four-legged guests spend wonderful weeks at CAVALLUNA Park during the season - but where do they live for the rest of the year? The horses and ponies are often bred by the teams themselves and prepared for their life as show horses with a lot of love and patience from an early age. Many of our teams have their own farms where they train riders and horses with a lot of passion. That is where the animals live outside the CAVALLUNA Kids show times. When they arrive for the show rehearsals, they are given plenty of time to get used to the lights, music and the overall show atmosphere.
